I am a 34 years old, stay-at-home mom of 2 very beautiful girls (3 and a half yrs and 22 months). I am self taught in many areas, including computers. I volunteer my time and talents with a couple of non-profit charitable organizations.

I love to read. I have very wide tastes (fantasy, sci-fi, non-fiction, historical, a little romance). Some of my favourite authors are of course Tolkien, CS Lewis, Frank Peretti, and Jane Austen.

I've read the Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings twice. I am currently doing a chapter by chapter study of LotR. I first starting reading Tolkien in college. I find his life very fascinating.

Besides reading, I like NASCAR, cross-stitching, teaching, computers, real debating, and religion (all kinds).

Hey Lasgalen - Nice to see you again! :p We have to stop meeting like this, eh?

I like to debate just about anything. I have a wide range of interests and sometimes will even debate the opposite of what I actually believe just so that there is some discussion. I do like to debate the taboo topics like religion and politics, just because they're so diverse and taboo. :evilcool:

If you know of some good Tolkien stuff to debate that would be fun!
