Hey!

I know a place where u can download 2 Tolkien fonts for free. One of them (the tengwar one) is probably already on this site, but i didnt see the other Tolkien style one on this site. Heres a link: http://www.imagesrc.net/lotr_fonts.html

Take a look in our downloads section...lol

You can get there from the main nav.....
Just click on downloads....we have quite a few there.....download away!!!hehehe

Thanks Kimbo!! The other one is actually called Tolkien.......gues what site has it as all main titles text :-) Check The War of the Ring Community text etc. But Yes I will add it....remind me if I don't

I LOVE that Tolkien font....i use it on everything on my computer, and i've set it as my Windows XP font, and i use it a lot on my site....lol....so i wanted to share it with anyone who may not have it yet. Anyways, thanks for such an awesome forum/site by the way....take care! :)

how exactly do you download it on the program? Do I save it to something? I dont get it plz help

Save it on your computer but remember where you save it. Then, (depedning on your version of windows) i think all you have to do is right-click on it in whatever folder u saved it in, and copy it, then open settings from the start menu, go to control panel, there should be a "FONTS" folder in there....open that folder, right-click anywhere in that folder and paste. If that doesnt work let me know! good luck ;)

Im so sorry....do u know what windows version u have? or like....maybe someone around your house could help you out? Cuz im sure i could figure it out but its kinda hard when we arent even in the same state/country/whatever....im so sorry! :(

its true....to install a font you have to save it and then go to 'control panel' in the 'my computer' folder....then click on file and then on install new font....it'll (hopefully) come up with a thing where you choose the folder that you saved it in and the computer searches for available fonts in that folder....click onthe fiont + the ok button (it might say install...i can't remember) your font should now work.
