Custom avatar

Hi there! I'm a new member to WOTR and I've created my own avatar for the forums. How do I get it attached? Does it work the same as the photos (e-mailing to Fatty or Illuvatar)?:blush:

I believe you are limited to the avatars provided. The number of choices increases as your post count increases. If you are a modererator or a member-of-the-month, you can have a special or maybe a custom avatar. I think subscribers also can have custom avatars - not really sure. I guess I could subscribe and find out if I weren't so poor. At least we have lots of smilies!

To have a custom avatar, you either have to be a staff member of WotR, have 20000 posts, subscribe or get voted as Member of the Month :thumbs: Right now, you'll just have to stick to the extensive collection of avatars wotr offers. ;)

Miruvor & Winyaél Greenleaf, thanks so much. I am a subscriber and, yes, you do get a custom avatar with that. Silly me. I should have checked my old e-mails first. :blush: The info was there from when I first subscribed (avatar attachment is sent to Illu)

I'm not so much of a veteran...must be a "fool of a took" and done something wrong. I noticed with this first posting that the nifty little silver ring was missing.mecry Help is on the way, though, and all will be sorted out courtesy of the wonderful staff at WOTR. Then, I can formally introduce myself to the community with my avatar and I in agreement

silver ring means silver subscriber (the only tier of subscription we have at the moment).

TheRingBearer's custom avatar he got for being MotM is the one Ring (it being golden ofc)... that's the only golden ring around here for now
