 I would have to say my Fave soundtrack of all time is:
Legends of the Fall
The Music is just so emotional for me, much like the movie. I really think it's the music that tells the story.
Tar-Ancalimė
October 25th,2002, 04:13 AM
mmm never heard it... i take it you recommend it? lol
Hans_Schuder
October 25th,2002, 04:56 AM
"I really think it's the music that tells the story."
Sure is! I remember that story from an early test screening of "Beetlejuice" that went without Danny Elfman's score. The audience hated it. Once they put the music on audiences liked it. A complete turnaround and safe to say, that film would have failed without it. ;)
Adunauriel
October 25th,2002, 07:29 AM
That's how I feel about Legends of the Fall. If you know the movie, (and I mean like me. I've seen it a million times). Listen to the Soundtrack, you'll know what's going on in the movie. You can feel the emotion .
I highly recomend the soundtrack even if you haven't seen that Movie. I think it's just beautiful music. You might even find yourself saying I've herd this in other movies. I'm fairly certain thou that I herd most of it in Legends first. I could be wrong thou.:)

Well i am going to be totally different and say my favourite soundtrack is Queen of the Damned. It is full of gothic heavy metal anger music. Its got artists like Papa Roach and Drycell. Watching Stuart Townsend mime all the songs kinda helped to sell it but overall i love it!
Bonos-Girl
November 4th,2002, 05:43 PM
what songs has it got on it. i never got round to seeing the film, are they made especially for the film or is it just a collection of sonngs?
Kezzy
November 5th,2002, 09:32 AM
They are a collection of songs really but its all pretty full on stuff.
Bonos-Girl
November 5th,2002, 04:44 PM

Adunauriel
November 18th,2002, 10:41 AM
Ah, another Legends of the Fall fan. I just love that soundtrack too. It's my absolute fave, along with the FotR soundtrack. They both are just so beautiful, there aren't words to discribe them properly..:)

Does Saturday Night Fever count? Probably too trite by now.
The only Movie soundtracts I ever bought (besides Titanic which doesn't count) was 'About Last Night' (Compilation of different artists) and Friends (all Elton John). The lion King has good music too, but I didn't buy that one.
Bonos-Girl
November 21st,2002, 05:07 PM
i only bought a few sountracks. they're usually a lot more expensive than other CD's unfortunately. i did however buy the rocky horror picture show, and i got the grease soundtrack for a birthday present when it was released again a couple of years back.

November 30th,2002, 08:48 PM
Now I'm beginning to like the TTT Soundtrack A LOT. I can't decide if its better than the FOTR soundtrack or not.... all I can say is its a lot more depressing than the first.... with less demanding music.
Gollum's Song is so depressing mecry - makes me feel pity for the creature

Should we include Broadway musicals? I wish we could because 'Phantom of the Opera' was the best musical ever.
Well, and 'Camelot' was great, and it was a movie, as was 'My Fair Lady', and 'The Little Prince' too, which was made into a movie. I already put in my selections for movie-only soundtracts earlier.
