Just wondering, is anyone else going to see the Hobbit at the New Victoria theatre in Woking?
(this is probably unlikely, but I just wondered.)

well, no, considering i'm no where near there... but if it were ever around here where i live, then i'd love to go see it. :) How about the new LotR play? that sounds pretty interesting too! but then again, it's not being performed near me... not any time soon anyway.

The Hobbit wasn't only in Woking, I think its been all over the UK but its almost at the end of its tour.
It was changed quite a bit though, for example Bilbo read the letters on the Ring without needing any help, considering they were elvish and Black Speech. they also had another two lines:
One Ring to Rule them All,
One Ring to Findd them,
One Ring to Bring them All
And in the Darkness Bind them.
Fear the One Ring
treasure the One ring
or something like that anyway. also there were only 5 dwarves: Balin, Bombur, Fili, Kili and Thorin. and neither Fili nor Kili died.
Anyway, I think it was good, it's just that I love to critisize! (and can't spell critisize) :p

A small community theater near where we live outside of Chicago will present "The Hobbit" in August. I signed up as a volunteer to do anything for the production, hopefully I can give suggestions so they don't screw anything up.

It's on at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle, UK, from 10-14 June if anybody near enough wants to see it.

Ooo it's at Woking...is this the same place were talking about? Isn't that the theater inside the Peacock center? correct me if I'm wrong!
