Ad Banners

Hi FOlks, well we have avoided putting any banner in the forum up until now. However, as you know we are tryingt ot make the site break even. So we are now introducing banenrs to the forum pages. They will be as small a file size as possible and static. So no blinking lights or flashing letters.

Let us know your thoughts on this.

Ahhh now I understand why a couple of days ago there were banners galore in the Games Forum - If I wasn't completely certain of the fact already, I would have thought I'd finally gone completely mad lol

Well they are gonna be like the one above this thread now, you know kinda part of the scenery but still noticable and clear, then I personally don't have a problem with them, it doesn't spoil the look in any way.

I wouldn't worry about it, Fatty. Every other forum has 'em, and they're usually .gifs too, annoying. Everywhere you go online you get them... plus it's a small price to pay, for such a great site :grin:

Don't worry about ti Fatty. Maybe I'm just unobservant but it took me awhile to notice the banner. Not annoying at all...and a very small price to pay for this great place. :)

yep...i only noticed it cos before it loads theres a massive white rectangle on the p[age! lol it looks fine though and i agreee with amoraq, a small price to pay for the site!

looks fine...blends in but still shows. No prob at all.
