Many have searched, but none have found the Shield of Boromir. Seems the only way to get one is to make it or have it made. The same holds true for the sword. I guess if you die in the first movie your weapons aren't expected to sell well enough to be reproduced!

My dad had one of those circular boards with a ball set into the center cos he had to stand on it to regain his balance after surgery on his knee....if i held it up then it looked like boromir's shield...that was kinda fun! :)

The general construction looks to be wood covered with leather and a steel center piece. Very similar to a Viking Shield, but smaller.

Hahaha! :jester: Is it just me, or does Boromir fight a lot better without his shield. I mean I really liked Boromir's deathscéne but it is so stupid that he carries his shield the entire journey and then at the moment he needs it most he doesn't have (and still he slays half the Uruk Hai army :battle: ).
Anyway, I don't think there are any Boromir stuff anywhere, while there is (much) more then enough Arwen stuff. Why? :huh: I

ya well i just done a good search of the net and i am fairly sure there is no-one who has made a replica of the shield he used

Hmm... this discussion seems to be based on an enquiry about a replica of Boromir's shield, so I'll move this to the replica thread... ;)

and I'll keep a look out to see if they have a replica of his shield too ;)
