What got you into gaming?

Here's a question - how and why did you get into gaming? I know myself that I got into it because when I was young my dad was really into Amiga and I loved watching him play. Then I played on my friend's N64 and was hooked (hey it was Mario Kart what can you expect! lol)

As I've said somewhere else, it was actually Discworld which introduced me to the world of PC games! Then it just sort of 'expanded' from that.:grin:

Wow, well I'm only 16 but I had an ld Amstrad computer when I was about 4 onwards lol whihc had a load of games with it. Then, about 3 or 4 years later I got a SNES and have been into gaming ever since, owning a N64, GBC and now a Gamecube ;)

Well my brother got me into playing games on our old beast of a computer that didn't even have windows on it !lol then i got a Super Nintendo, mmm SNES? i think (hey it was a long time ago!) then i played that for a few years, playstation, N64, XBOX, PLAYSTASTION 2 oh i love my games lol

It was 1985, and I remember playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES at a demo kiosk (the store I can't remember) and the rest is history. :)
