Morwen?

I don't really even know where this thread belongs but I was cruising around TORn today and noticed that "Morwen" is cast in the movies. Is this the "Turin's mother" Morwen? If so, how the heck does her story come into play?

I've actually heard a rumor (Imaldris, I think) that Morwen is a Rohan refugee that befriends Arwen. Something about her making Arwen fully realize the mortal fear of death, or something.

I wish I could remember exactly where it was I read that, but I've seen so many rumors and speculation its hard to keep track, you know?

Pil, that's funny...Everyone has a friend...but yes, I've heard the rumor about this Morwen lady...bah.

1st Comment: Arwen doesn't realize anything about mortal death until Aragorn's end. But, in movie terms, I can understand why they're speeding it up. Sort of.

2nd Comment: the name 'Morwen' is not really of the language of Rohan. It's Elvish! Hullo, Mr. Jackson! Are you messing with the language of the horse-lords now? Grr!

Morwen!!! *squeaky voice.* It's was daring enough that PJ maximized Arwen's part, But adding new charactors!?!?!!? (I havn't finished the book or read the silm, so correct me if i'm wrong.) Maybe PJ just did it to help the people know about the whole mortal thing and all. *Mutteres* which i really didn't understand in the first place, I think I need to read the books again when i'm done... But Morwen is a girl I know that.

Well Eowyn sounds elvish but she's human so Morwen might be correct?

yeah I also heard that Morwen is a refugee that Arwen helps and befriends. But when I say "helps" don't assume that it means she clashes swords with an Uruk Hai attempting to kill her, it could be something as subtle as helping her to her feet. (just don't want any more *****ing about Arwen.)
I thought that Theoden's mother or grandmother was also named Morwen. Correct me if I'm wrong.
