And this is probably a very silly question but I'm sure you'll forgive me as I'm new here...

Why can't we edit posts after 15 mins? I've posted a poem in the Poet's Corner, and typically, would like to do a bit of tweaking, but can't. As I only want to remove one word ( I know, seems daft doesn't it?) it seems a shame to trouble a moderator.

Thanks for listening.

No worries! Hassle them!! That's what they're here for! lol

The main reason for the time limit is that after 15 minutes, there's a good chance that someone may have replied and editing of a post can change the tone of the thread or even may the subsequent replies not make sense.

Make sense? :p

Yes, that does make a lot of sense, but in a way the poetry and fanfic forms are different, aren't they? I should imagine most people who post there would like to edit their work at times, if they could.

What me? Perfectionist? *twitch twitch* ;)

roflmao.......

But unfortunatly, the time limit is a generic option that is done at the main admin panel and applys to all forums. Sorry:(

Oh, I see. Ah well, never mind.

*trundles off to play in the other forums*
