Yes, I think most of those are confirmed, either by official-like people or pictures. (Tho I don't know if I've heard much about the sewers.)

I voted for Entdaught. That's gonna be so good, I always loved that part of the book. I can't wait for it! I bet it's gonna be my fave part of the Ext, as the Gift-giving in Lorien was.

If I may ask what may be a silly question, what's the big deal with the ent-draught? I mean, It's just them dirnking out of big bowls, right? I know they grow a little bit, but so what? It just doesn't seem that thrilling or visually striking to me.

I would like to see much more fighting seens with the Riders of rohan and the Uruk Hai cause all they really showed was just them clashing together but thats it. So more scense like that.

Well, Rock, I can understand why it's not that exciting to you, but I think I like it for the fact that it's something from the books that's actually going to make it in there somewhere, as well as it being cute and funny. In fact, I'm looking forward to everything in the Ext but could only pick one.

Right. It's not that I'm against it being in there. I think it should be. I'm just not all a-jitter with anticipation to watch them drink from a couple bowls. Now if it was more scenes with the Ents/Isengard in general, then that's a different story. :grin:

I guess it just goes to prove how tastes vary, because I'm looking forward to the entdraught scene. It has the potential to be funny (without being as OTT as some of the other humorous moments in TTT), it adds a bit more to the Merry and Pippin side of the story, which seemed like the least developed part of the movie, and it could be pretty much straight from the book. I don't consider myself a purist or anything, but its nice to see something completely familiar, you know?

I'm looking forward to the other things as well, but as much as I would love to see more Frodo and Sam, traveling through the sewers with Faramir isn't the most preferable condition..... lol

Yes, I too think it will be sweet, and I'd love to see their hair standing up on their heads. It could be a very fun scene. But really, I suspect the Faramir, Boromir, Denethor scene may be the most powerful scene. At least it has the potential to be so.

The Huorns most certainly belong at Helm's Deep, it was the only way to overcome such overwhelming odds. Having left them out, PJ diminished the bravery of those that faced such a host :trout:

i think the ent draught shouldve been left in the movie, cuz in ROTK when merry and pippin are all bigger people will be all confused as to why. or so id assume so.

Grima, that would actually be a reason not to have it in ROTK. I've never heard anywhere that Merry and Pippin indeed are bigger in ROTK. If they are, then those that haven't read the books would be really confused.

Actually. I think it has been stated by PJ and other sources that the Hobbits are going to be bigger in ROTK.

Then I would have to assume that somewhere in ROTK that it is explained why for the benefit of the "movies only" crowd. You can't have Merry and Pippin show up inches taller and not explain it. Either that or perhaps he could make them taller in ROTK so those of us in the know could recognize without it being too perceptible to the non-book viewer. Thus requiring no explanation while giving a nod to the hard core fan. Interesting to see how it will pan out.:frodo:

What would Faramir, Denethor, and Boromir be speaking about? Was this in the book b/c if so I don't remember it. I'll enjoy the Entwash scene for the fact that we'll also get to see Treebeard's home. In my opinion the Huorn's are the best addition b/c it comes straight from the book and the end of Helm's deep left me a little dissapointed and wanting more. Anyway, I can't wait for the EE.

It was hard to choose but I am especially looking forward to more of Boromir. Sean Bean's portrayal of him was most impressive. This will be a flashback scene and I can hardly wait to see Denethor as well.

The Huorns are also on my 'can't wait' list to see! The end of the battle of Helm's Deep just didn't do it for me without them.

How long do we have to wait? November? Gaaahhh! :grin:

I don't know why, but the whole Hourn thing never really got me that excited. If I could choose two, it would be between Ent Draught and the FDB conversation. But I voted for the FDB conversation, I also want to see Sean Bean a bit more, and Denethor seems cool from the ROTK pics.

i can't vote... i'm eager to see the whole DVD again... one thing that wasn't mentioned in the poll was that Eowyn was going to fight an orc or too... that would be cool to watch...

in terms of Merry, Pippin and Ent scenes..i thought that PJ didn't do a great job with the Uruk-hai sequences... if he could have included a bit more on when Grishnahk?(i believe) felt for Pippin for the RIng....that would be a good thing to add...
seeing Merry and Pippin with their hair and bodies growing would be cool though :) (even though i agree that there must be explanation about that part by Treebeard sometime along the road...)

I voted for the Huorns myself. I just love the concept; a force of nature made manifest almost. The Hourns are mysterious (because we never get to know them like the Ents we meet), and lets face it, a little bit scary :-)

have you seen the review of what we're going to see in the extended dvd in the main page!!!!:elfeek: :o now i really can't wait!!!!:hyper: i'm waiting the most for all refering to Eowyn:she is going to sing at theodred's funeral and that will be soooo awesome to see,also she's going to kill some orcs(at least one) and we're going to have some more scenes of how she falls in love with aragorn(at the stables at edoras while aragorn speaks with Brego,theodred's horse).she's my favourite character ifrom the books,i think if Arwen gets so many scenes not being present at all in the books, Eowyn deserves more scenes for herself especially action ones because if not people who hadn't read lotr ,at the end of ttt will think arwen is the very woman warrior in the tale and as we all know she's not...
I voted for faramir-boromir-denethor conversation it's going to be great after reading the news in the mainpage,boromir defends his brother in front of his father,and they will show how close is the relationship between them two,anyways what PJ did with faramir's character has no justification no matter what he now does.
