Aragorn's OTHER Ring???

Okay, I may be TOTALLY imagining this (highly plausible) but I thought I saw Aragorn in FotR wearing a ring OTHER than the ring of Barahir, you know, the green one with the serpents. The one I saw (or thought I saw, you must understand that it was just a fleeting glance) was a silver thingy with a sort of celtic knot pattern with a purple stone in the middle, maybe an amethyst . Does this exist or are my eyes just deceiving me???!!!!??? :( My best friend says that it's just the ring of Barahir covered with grime and blood (a probable possibility considering that Aragorn is usually coated in both ;) ), but I'm not to sure... Am I crazy, or does it exist??!???!!?!! :huh:

My guess is that the ring is the same one, just covered in muck.

Well, I thought it was at the last battle scene in Fellowship, you know, the whole orcs thing at Amon Hen, I think...But I just watched it again on the Extended DVD (I got the extended version!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: HA HA HA!!!!!, wheww...just had to get that out of my system! ;) ) and I think it's just the ring of barahir, but no matter, it was an intriguing possibility at the time...hmmmm....

I just checked it again, but I couldn't spot it: he had only one Ring as far as I could see.
So I guess it was just the Ring of Barahir with some blood on it.
Though during Boromir's deathscene ot still looked kinda clean, but his hands were definatly dirty.
