Red Dragon would be a nice movie to see, though Hannibal was not as good as Silence of the Lambs. I have high hopes for this one, though. Though I don't think it will be as sick as Harris's book! :evilcool: :elfqueen:

I'm not sure I've heard of Red Dragon.... what is it, exactly? :embarras:

Have you ever seen Silence of the Lambs? If not, then it would be harder to explain. But, to sum it up, it's the first book in the author Thomas Harris's Hannibal Lecter trilogy. I'm guessing that they didn't make it into theatres before SOTL because the latter was more popular, I think. But it is due out in theatres in October of this year. Trust me, it's creepy!

Oh! I feel rather dumb.... :embarras:
Anyhow! I've seen both The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, and the second didn't exactly measure up to the first in my opinion.
It seems odd that they'd do them out of order....I suppose they're only making the first one now because of the success of the other two.
I can't believe I've seen both films and never knew there was another...

I've read the book and I'm looking foward to it :) I love the other 2 movies...though Silence was definitely better.

... of Red Dragon.. long before the current Silence of the lambs. It was actually quite good.... can't remember the star's name, but can see his face. I think it was Willian Petersen.. played the role of the police psychiatrist/cop??

aye, 1986's Manhunter directed by Michael Mann....great movie....lots of discussion whether or not Red Dragon needed to be made....or remade as the case may be ;)
and quite, Petersen played the part of Graham...also Brian Cox took up Hannibal....really just cool to see another guy become the good Dr  lol
