Favorite part? the Aragorn-Door-Opening scene!!!! :love: :whoohoo: I really don't know what else to call it, but you all know what I mean...;) Oh, and I also like when Aragorn fall off the cliff and the whole wargs thingy :grin: (you may be wondering why i like seeing aragorn almost die, considering, *cough*, my "feelings" for him, but it's such a shocker :elfeek:, and I enjoy being suprised...:) )

I liked the "death" too, Striderfan. I think coz we KNEW he'd be ok, and we were'nt really too worried.

Exactly! it was really well done too, b/c it wasnt a long, drawn out, hanging-off-the-cliff-by-his-fingernails scene, it was just like "pooofff" and....where's aragorn??? :huh: (like my sound effects? ;) lol)

The best line in TTT that adds up all the suspense is "the battle for HD is over, the battle for middle earth is about to begin." hint hint saying how cool the rotk will be.

I have to agree with Aranel that "You Lie!" is one of my favorite lines too ;)...I love how it actually shows Legolas getting REALLY passionate and aggravated for once, instead of always being the sort of calm elf! lol

I like that one too. It shows the deep hatered that the Elves have for the Orcs. I also like when Legolas is standing alone on the hillside, shooting at the Wargs & Orcs. He looks like he would stay and shoot until the end, whether or not there was any help coming. Very determined.

In that whole sequence of Aragorns "death", I like "Le Abdollen...you look terrible" the best. I just think it shows not only that elves can have a sense of humor (something not seen before) but the deep friendship that has grown between the elf and the man (also shown on the walls with "Shall I get you a box") YOu really get the idea that these 3 have become as close as any friends could be.

Yeah, TTT was much funnier than Fotr in my opinion...lol I love the look on aragorn's face when Legolas gives him the whole "you look terrible" speech...Priceless!! roflmao

Helm's Deep and the Ents attacking Isengard are awesome scenes...i also like how PJ modified the Black Gate scene from the book since the book version had mostly thoughts and descriptions...
my favorite lines include Sam's hope speech, Aragorn saying that "It is an army bred for one purpose, to destroy the world of men" to Theoden, Gandalf saying "I have come back to you now, at the turn of the tide", and of course Gollum's conversation with Smeagol ;)

OHHH!!! :elfeek: Gollum was AWESOME!!! :whoohoo: The whole Gollum/Smeagol dialogue was perfect...funny, but very pitiful and sad at the same time :thumbs:...I also like the whole "Toss Me!" conversation...I didn't really get it in full in the theater, b/c before TTT came out I didn't own Fotr and hadn't seen it enough times to get the whole "no one tosses a dwarf!" line in that movie...lol

The ents in Isengard is a scene I've looked forward to for 30+ years, and I wasnt disappointed. But my fave scenes are ANY with :aragorn: (tho I must confess a weakness for "le abdollen. You look terrible. Just the look on Aagorn's face :drool:

Having your horse rescue you from death- $hundreds in training
Having your clothes dry in the sun $hundreds in laundry bills
Having your friends greet you with sarcasm...priceless!!

I also love the scene where Gimli and Aragorn are fighting (after the "toss me" bit...) and Legolas pulls them up with a rope. Such a nod to films with stars like Douglas Fairbanks Jr...and all the other "swashbuckler" type films.

I just have to say that I thought Miranda Otto's performance as Eowyn was really fantastic, perfect :thumbs:...the look on her face when when she crosses blades with Aragorn in Rohan is great lol...And her costumes...oh! :elfeek: what I wouldn't do for one of those!!!!...its b/c of that green velvet one (oh, and the white one, and the brown one with the bell sleeves, and...I could go on hours! ;) ) that I've decided to dress up as The Shieldmaiden for the Rotk premier...:grin:

Ah...and who could forget Gimli getting squashed by wargs!!! roflmao

-Sam's WHOLE speach to Frodo, "....that there's still some good in this world. And that it's worth fighting for." Oh Sam...

-Frodo, "...FARAMIR! YOU MUST LET ME GO!! " And when he realizes that if he puts on the Ring, it will take him, "...if I put it on, He'll find me. He'll see." And, "Nothing dampens your spirit, does it Sam?"

-"...Gandalf. That's what they used to call me. Gandalf the Grey. That was my name.......I am Gandalf the White. And I come to you now, at the turn of the tide." And, "....Breath the free air again."

-Aragorn, "Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall." And, "...this is the hour when we draw swords together..."

-Gimli, "Keep breathing....." And (before Aragorn tosses him across the bridge), "....Don't tell the Elf."

I like aragorn's CSI-ish part when he retraces Merry and Pippin's journey into the forest :grin:...reminds you that he still is a back-woods Ranger with back-woods Ranger abilities, even if he may be destined to be a king! :king:

And it shows how he still has hope (there's that theme, again) of finding M&P alive. I'm still at the bare feet scene, myself :drool:

Oh, I love that part, Striderfan. They did that so good in the movie, the way you see Merry and Pippin escaping, as Aragorn is tracing their steps. It's kind of "edge-of-your-seat-ish". You just keep saying to yourself: "Keep going Aragorn, KEEP GOING!". It is a great scene.

I also like the scene when Pippin climbes Treebeard for the first time, and he realizes that the tree is moving, and that it has eyes. Oh, his face!

And I also like when Merry kicks the orc in the mouth, just before the scene with Pippin. Good ol' Merry, :) . But then it scares me when the orc turns his face back around to Merry. Ooohh that really scares me :(
