I've noticed people inserting links and instead of seeing the link itself (starting with: http://...) you see a writing or a description...I was wondering how it can be done....
I hope somebody can help me
PS: Once I stumbled upon the coolest list of all avatars available for sertain nomber of posts...Unfortunatly I can't remember where it was....Can someone help me with this one too?

About the links: When you click to the "http://" button, you can give the description of th URL in the first text entry box (then press "OK"), after that can you give the URL in the second one (then press "OK"). Or you can type in the whole tag: <url="http://www.something.com">Description</url> (you must change <-s to [-s, of course)

Hey there Erinion....
For the current avatar list, just check in the FAQ and they are listed there. Click on the question "How do I get a picture under my username".
The link bit has to do with how you code the [u r l] statement. Hard to explain here without invoking the the code, but basically, you put your [u r l]http://[/url] statement after [u r l= and close with ] then put what you want and close with [/ u r l].
for example [u r l =blah.blah.blah]Frodo Lives[/u r l]
(note spaces inserted into url code are invalid...just did that for display)
Hope this helps.
*Edit...and yea......what STG said! lol

Didn't want to start a new thread, but I have another question: what's the policy about deleting posts? I've noticed there's an option, but I never tried it,because the other forum I was a member of did not approve of it....

Easy peasy.....
You can delete/edit your own post for the 1st 15 minutes after the initial posting. After that any editing or deleting of posts requires moderator or admin intervention.
