Good Morning!

Mandin was walking along a road of white dust.
"Good afternoon," said the Man in the Moon.
Mandin did not understand.
He kept walking, and he saw a city of white stone with seven rings of high walls and a tower in the middle. There were still well ordered places inside the city were, if not all was Well, Well was the generaly rule. But there was chaos in many places, and somebody was just thrown out of the tower window for no reason whatsoever.
Mandin did not understand.
He kept walking, and he noticed a stream of other people. Some he knew by name and sight of avatar only, others he had done a great deal of talking with and had grown to love and respect.
He followed them, and he found a great banner that cried to all who passed beneath it: WELCOME.
And so, Mandin felt very welcome, and he came in, and made himself a little house, and he put a little bench out the front door, and he sat on the bench with a pipe in his mouth. And as he smoked he blew perfectly round smoke rings that drifted up over his house and then down his chimney into the study where they danced around his many books. And while he smoked, he saw that there were people passing, and he said to each as they came.
"Good morning! I am new here, and enjoy very much what I see. Have you a pipe? Here, have a fill of mine, and we will enjoy the fine weather together."

Don't mind if I do share a bit of that pipe! Though I dare say my smoke rings are far less impressive. ;)

As Tinwe was walking by, she looked over, and noticed a familiar face sitting on a bench, smoking a pipe. As she walked over to where he was sitting, she slowly started to reconize him. "Mandin! How wonderful it is to see you here!" She said, as she sat down next to him. "Mind if I join you?" She asked, pulling out a pipe from her coat. "I'm afeared that I do not have any pipe-weed right now, do you mind sharing some of your's? I hope you like it here, it truly is a wonderful place!"

I've got's in me pockets some of the finest weed, from a source I found at a local Inn. I do believe that it may be from South Farthing even!! Here have a fill, and let's all enjoy the morning and the beautiful day!

[Orofacion of the Vanyar]

The air was clear and the breeze sweet in the afternoon. It was warm, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. As the wind blew, the soft music of the leaves under the boughs of the trees sang merrily under the summer sun. This was a fine day for a walk amongst the great oaks of the forest. Coming to a small clearing, Orofacion descerned a small house, quite becoming and quaint, a happy little house indeed. "Interesting," the Vanyar said to him self.

Upon walking around the corner of the small house, Orofacion stopped in his path, his eyes widened and his lips curved to a wide smile. Sitting amongst the familiar faces of Tinwe, Illuvator, and Nessa sat a most welcoming sight. "The fates have dealt a most wonderful suprise today on this lovely afternoon," Orofacion said to the newcomer, an old friend. "The noble and ever witty Mandin, as I live and breath! It is most wonderful to see you here in this little corner of the wide of Arda. How fare you friend? Mind if I sit and join you in a smoke?"

(Unfortunately there is no "eyeball", but lucky for me there is a "thumbs up" ;) )

Mandin.... tho I do not partake of the weed myself, far be it for me to frown on others pleasure.
Enjoy the sites ,the sounds and the pleasant company... and if by chance the ale be flowing to, then I am sure to stop bye for a cooling draught!:cool:

"Now Catz," said Mandin, frowning, "do you think I would be that very low?" Mandin began to smile. "Of course there is ale," he added to the benefit of the two latest comers. Mandin hurried into his house and came back with a small cask of ale under one arm, and balanced on his other hand was a platter of pewter mugs. The two first mugs went to Catz and Elendur: "Thank you very much for dropping by and for your welcomes. "
With the ale flowing, Mandin was able to turn to the others who had greeted him.
"Hello, Nessa. Yes, I am enjoying myself, and it looks as though I'll be continuing to do so for quite some time. Thanks."
"Ah, Tinwë, it is sad and amusing how many of us are here. I hope the pleasant atmosphere remains. It would go beyond amusing if the whole crowd follows. But I dare say there's room for a few more yet."
"mmm, Illuvatar. Your weed is excellent indeed! I am a little proud of mine myself. So I'll take turns between the two. I get mine from goodness knows where, and it's quite a bit different than the norm, but very good nonetheless. And thank you for the welcome."
"Please do not bring up the rather painful subject of eyeballs, good Oro. sniff. ;) Surely, have a seat and out with your pipe. It is grand to see you here. There were so many people at the Other Place that I was unable to have a great deal of interaction with you there. Perhaps that will change here. Huzzah!"

[Lady Galadriel]

As Galadriel took one of her now common walks around the growing Middle-Earth development with the wecome sign on it, she noticed some very familiar smoke rings drifting above several of the buildings. Curious to find out where they were coming from, the lady followed the trail all the way to a cozy cottage on the outskirts of the development.

"Mandin! My good friend! I'm so elated to see you here!" She also saw the faces of her pals Tinwe, and Orofaction, and some now familiar faces to her...Illuvatar, Nessa, and Catz. "Greetings all! What a beautiful day!"
