i was really inpressed by the work of David Wenzel in the illustrated Hobbit and also liked the hobbit animation by rankin/bass.
talking of the illustrated hobbit i found Wenzel's comic work just great, i really enjoyed every single page of that lovely book. Especially liked the way bilbo and gollum looked. Lovely !! it's just addorable.
Some time ago i got the Hobbit animation by rankin/bass and also found it very pleasing and successfull. Again fell for bilbo and gollum.................
Am i the only one ? :)

Ah the Hobbit animation. Very bizzare, a product of its time I think. But still worth a watch. The music and songs are great for kids too. But Gollum does look a bit too froggy. :-)
