Time allowed for post editing.

I would prefer if the time allowed for editing a post was extended, to a day, or even just an hour. It's annoying when you've been off the internet for a while, and go back online to find that you've posted in the wrong thread.lol I'm one of those people who gets annoyed when I make a spelling error, too. lol
It would save the hassle of making double posts, and the hassle of having to ask a moderator to rectify whatever error you may have made.:)

Well.....I understand your concern mate....

However, we experimented with this when we first opened, and ended up settling on the 15 minutes.....we even tried the hour bit......but the "thing" is that quite often folks were editing thier posts after others had replied.....and at times completely changing the contents of their initial posts which would completely invalidate all subsequent replies.

Soooo........as a staff we got together and decided that 15 minutes should be sufficient. If edited is needed after that...we've got 24 mods on staff and you're more than welcome to contact them and request that your post be edited......we do it all the time! :p
