..who cant play real games. I mean, LOTR games appeal to both kids and adults, while most platformers seem only to be made for younger kids. But, after having played Munch’s Oddysee, Crash Bandicoot and Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets, I’m starting to think maybe I’ve missed out on a ton of great games now. These games have great characters, stories and graphics. Now I want to play more! Some of the following aren’t out yet, but all of these are ones I’m interested in. Any recommendations?

1. I-Ninja (http://cube.ign.com/objects/493/493811.html?fromint=1&submit.x=63&submit.y=17)
2. Rachet & Clank (http://www.ratchetandclankgadgets.com/#)
3. Sly Cooper: Thevious Racoonus (http://www.us.playstation.com/games/SCUS-97198/)
4. The Hobbit (http://cube.ign.com/objects/477/477444.html?ui=gamefinder)
5. Zelda (http://www.zelda.com/)
6. Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly (http://www.spyrothedragon.com/)

I've heard that Spryo: Enter the Dragonfly is nothing new compared to the older Spyro games- it's practically the same game-play as the previous games. Plus, the graphics haven't really changed, despite the advances in technology.

Can't really help you on the other games (although the commercials for Sly Cooper are always hilarious). But I love Munch's Oddysee... great fun.

And welcome to WOTR and whatnot. ;)

My personal recommendations:

ICO (PS2)
The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker (GameCube)
Panzer Dragoon: Orta (Xbox)

To name a few.

I-Ninja is very cool.
But my favourite game you mentioned is Zelda.

Well previous spyro game were intially fun, but now their boring and repeatitive. Sly Copper has nice cell shading, but is a little repeatitive too. Though I would recommend it over Spyro. Ratchet and clank on the other hand is amazing and deserves all the high marks it's been award, so i would easily recommend it and it's predessor Jak and Daxter. Windwaker is another superbe game that I would recommend. If you don't want the so "kiddy" effect try Metriod:Prime. It's absoulutely amazing and doesn't give the 'kiddy' view. I-Ninja i'm a bit on the dak-side on and Hobbit's release is soon, but there's not too much to go on so far.

Platformers are great! There were a substantial number on old computers such as the Amiga, e.g. Superfrog and Oscar (those were both great games!) I wouldn't say Wind Waker is strictly a platform game, it's more RPG/platform IMO. Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie were great platformers for the N64, and who could forget the old Mario games right up to the newest, Mario Sunshine!
