Tt Dvd

The tt DVD was released in my area yesturday. Was that the same evrywhere else?. The preview is awsome. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it but it is really good and has made me even more impatient waiting for it. what do you think?:)

Yeah, it was out in my neck of the woods (UK, South Coast). Even the staff in the shop I bought it from weren't expecting it so soon (not that anyone was complaining mind you :-).

It was nice to be able to do a partial LotR marathon (watching the first two films back to back). Can't wait till I do that for all three :-)

The RotK preview has certainly got me all fired up for December, and the SE TTT release looks like it will be exceedingly good.

As for the other extras. I think my fave bit would have to be from the second 'behind the scenes' feature, where Billy Boyd lets Dom pull a strip of masking tape off his chest. Billy's reaction is so funny (you really get the impression it was, shall we say, somewhat uncomfortable - much bleeping out of swear words :-). Cracks me up every time I see it!

It comes out on August 26th here in the U.S. (or at least where I live). Im very excited, some store are having a special release dealie, and opening really early.

Yes, I got mine on Friday too! I was really surprised. I got a free picture book to go with it. I only bought the video as I don't own a DVD player, but when I do get around to buying one eventually, I intend to buy all three films in the extended version.

I can look forward to getting the se ttt. That looks so cool. I have already watched my DVD 4 times since i got it(driving my family nuts at the same time). The game also looks really good. I hope they release it on PC because they didn't release tt on PCmecry

The book was part of the store's promotion. It isn't a very big book, just a companion book to thevideo, with pictures of events that take place. There were one or two pictures that I didn't notice in the actual film, maybe they are in the extended version. But then again I could have just missed them. 2 hours 50 minutes is a long time to sit still and watch a film so they could have appeared when I went into the kitchen!!

I broorwed the tt visual companian from the library. I agree 2h and 50 mins is a v.long time. Is it true though that rotk is gonna be even longer?! as much as i luv lotr i don't think i could last 3h 30mins. Titanic was bad enough and tt i got a v. numb backside urgh!:(

Just bought my copy but I can't watch 'till tonight (with a nice bottle of red :) ) So now I just have to make it through 3 more hours of work with the DVD sitting on my desk whispering "watch me my precious" :thumbs:

I'm definatly looking forward to the extended tt.

I love the bit where Frodo falls into the mist. Im glad its in the extended tt.

I'm looking forward to rotk so so much. just as much as extended tt:grin:
