Has anyone ever played this hilarious and clever series of games? We used to have it on our good ole Amiga, and I used to love watching my dad play it, before I really knew how to play games myself :p I used to help him out though!
My fave character is the main character, Guybrush, especially his various encounters with pink ships and dresses...hilarious! LeChuck also made a great bad guy, as he was nasty but funny at the same time. I've played and completed 1, 2 and 4, but have never played 3 (not quite sure why though!)

It is a very good series. I'm currently playing the fourth one (I've played the other three), and am gradually knocking Herman Toothrot over the head with various things to cure his amnesia. I would reccomend 3! If you ever get your hands on it, play it. It's probably my favourite, and it explains how Stan got out of the coffin. lol

Something I would very much like to know, Saruman lol Locking Stan in the coffin in MI2 was hilarious! I also love the part in MI1 with the cannibals - "Look, it's a three-headed monkey"! Classic!

Which one is your favourite, Choco Taco? Have you guys heard the rumours of Monkey Island 5? I think there's some speculation over it, but I hope they are making it - it would be nice to see them return to old-school retro style, too!

It wold be great if they made a fifth game.
I'm on the last part of the fourth game - I'm hurling monkey insults at a giant stone Lechuck... lol

Monkey Island is classic stuff. I've played all four and like them all. My favourite is Curse of Monkey Island (nr 3 in the series).

Ah! Monkey Island 4 rules. Its great. Stan has the best voice there..it reminds me very much of Jim Carrey.

The monkey island series is classic Guybrush Threepwood is most likely the best computer game character ever.
