Dragonslayer!

Does anyone remember this old movie? When Dragonslayer came out, I was over the deep end with AD&D and other roleplaying games. This movie was a classic fantasy film and contained all the right elements. I've been looking for it on DVD but have not been able to locate it. Anyone seen it on the shelves anywhere?

Oh I LOVE this movie! Peter McNichol was soo cute in it! I have the video, however, look on amazon and see if they have the DVD available to buy.

I watched this movie in English and wrote a paper on it. After we read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight...love that story and Beowulf...there's another movie to discuss!

The christopher Lambert version is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

and sorta like Lord of the Rings...but not as good, but an influence I know for a fact.

The movie we're referring to stars Peter McNichol and another very good...Ralph Richardson, that's his name! It's about a wizard who has an apprentice and the wizard dies, but comes back to tell his apprentice that he has to slay the lone dragon in the area...something like that...it's been a while since I've seen it.
