Mad Blab VII - It's FINALLY BACK!

Hello all and welcome to Mad Blab VII! The newer members around here might not remember this game, which last took place in April ;) so I'll reinstate the rules!

This is a game where you have to be quick off the mark and extremely competitive - no holds barred! We've had our Mad Blab champions before, and even our addicts - why don't you join in on the fun! :grin:

This is how it works:

I will post five statements which sound like nonsense. But when you read them out aloud, they will sound like phrases, famous people, places etc.
Post what you think the English phrase is. There will be 1 point for each correct phrase. You're not allowed edits!
The first, and only the first person who gets a statement correct will get the point.
There will be 30 phrases in total. You can answer a maximum of 2 phrases in each bunch of 5 and the person with the most points at the end will be the winner!


There is no limit to the number of people that can play. It's a free-for-all! I will keep track of the scores.

Here's an example if you're not sure what I mean.
For example, I post the phrase:
Weigh Cup Toothy Fax.
Which, when read aloud, should sound like:
Wake up to the facts!
