I was thinking this was too much like Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians" when it suddenly took that unexpected twist. The ultimate villanous personality was not so surprising, but just WHO the whole bunch of people represented was quite clever. Anybody else see this and have an opinion?

Yup, I saw it, and there was a short thread about it a while back. It's on page 2 now if you're interested. :)

I liked the idea, John Cusack was brilliant, and the ending would have been great if it wasn't for the awful pick of the final identity. That just ruined it for me... pfbbt

Thanks for the tip - I went and read page two! I thought the ending was predictable - that the kid was the final personality to survive. But i think it's neat how a man had different ages and genders in his split psychy. It also raises the questions about incarseration. Is someone who's mentally ill and dangerous still responsible for a crime they don't know they committed. I'd argue that whether they are responsibile or not, the justice system has a responsibility of protecting society from their violence. The mental institution should be secure or the prison should offer mental services.
