Hi, I'm new! I thought I might post a poem of mine. Hope you all enjoy it!


In the pathless Wild we roam,
Miles and miles away from home.
Wandering under moon and sun,
We will until the Quest is done.

In the Darkened Place we roam,
With little hope to return home,
Wandering in darkness bleak,
Until we come to Doom's fiery peak.

At last! at last! the Quest is done!
Oh, we shout to see the Sun!
To reunite with friends of old,
'Tis better than mithril or gold!

Thanks. And yes, I do have other poems. In fact, here is another.

"Timeless"

The stars shine bright
Over the world
With a frosty light.

The rivers flow
In the vales
Under the moon’s glow.

The mountains stand
Beyond the Sea
Mysterious and grand.

The stars will glow
The rivers will flow
The mountains will stand
As I lay aside my helm
And sail for the Blessed Realm.

Thank you. I like poetry. heehee I was inspired by two things: my English class studying poetry and, of course, our dear Prof, Master Tolkien!

I love your poems Ashley. I like to sing as well as dance, and as I read your poems I started singing them straight away without even really thinking about it.

They are wonderfull, i want to read more if you have them.
