A Forum Suggestion

Ok, i know that there are a lot of forums, but i think we need an Open Forum, where anything can be discussed. Like world news, maybe debates on issues (of course everything would be kept under control). It is just a suggestion so that everyone who is already friends and they know they like LOTR, can see what else people are into and what else is going on in the world.

we already have the prancing pony which serves as a kinda open forum.....there are bars and restaurants where people can discuss everything and there are loadsa other threads for things....go check it out lol lol....never gonna use that phrase again....it sounds so stupid...lol lol

As BG says the Prancing Pony is the kinda "Open Forum" here, World news and events has been discused there as well as lighter topics.
IMO since the Pony hosts such a wide varity of topics and discussions it would be a bit much to have two forums so similar.

I didn't want to start another thread, so I'll just use this one. Maybe could there be a place for people to meet? Like getting penpals and things? If there's already one, could you point me in that direction? Thanks! :)

That's the Pony as well, there is a thread in there with AIM handles I believe and basically the way to meet is through the threads and pms then friendships form that way and penpals may indeed be the result in some cases.
