London Area Gathering. Plan it here

Hey folks, I'm sure you all know there are enough people in the London area to hold a WotR gathering. Here I will list the names of all the people who live in the London area, or who have said they will travel that far to get to a meeting. Keep in mind that I am only posting the names of people who have given their locations in this forum. I realize that there are many more members who live in London who have not posted here. And any information I post here is currant only up to the time it was posted in this forum. So appolgies if it is incorect now.

In this thread you can begin planning for a London area meeting. Where and when the meeting takes place is entierly up to the group. Someone will need to take on the responsibilty of hosting the meeting, either at your own house, or in another location. Maybe two or more people can combine their efforts on this matter.

Anyway, here are the names (so far no one has offered to hose a meeting yet):

I know there may be others who would love to go to a London area meeting. So please speak up if you do. It would be easier to plan a meeting if we knew how many people are going to come.

The return of the king premiere is on thurs 11th december 2003 at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square at 7:30pm (I went last year) It's right near Leicester square underground tube station and with the amount of people going you can't miss the building. This date isn't confirmed but it is very likely. The date could be changed to fri the 12th but the 11th is my best bet! Hope i've been of help. If you have any other queries like how to get there, then just email me. I'm a true lotr's fanatic and i'll be happy to help!

:blush: yeah... my phone is contract, not pay-as-you-go, so i had a huge bill.... lol

usually when I go to London i go via Richmond to Waterloo, or via richmond to south kensington (when i go to the museums) but since Ceri is taking me (hopefully) I don't know what way we'll go.
If we go to waterloo we can get a tube straight to leicester square and hopefully meet outside there. It might be very crowded tho.

Farn Main is the big one in farnborough and Farn North is a tatty old station on the other side of Farn by the North Farn Infants school(my old infants school;) ).We usually go from the Main one.

it was good but not as fun as last year...there were loadsa more people and we could only get to where the cras were going past. Having said that Viggo, Billy and Dom all waved even though most of the famous famous people came in blacked out windowed cars so we only really saw a few LOTR people and some Z-list celebs like the cheeky girls and eastenders cast! lol
