Sydney Area Gathering. Plan it here

Here I will list the names of all the people who live in the Sydney Australia area, or who have said they will travel that far to get to a meeting. Keep in mind that I am only posting the names of people who have given their locations in this forum. I realize that there may be other members who would be willing to travel to Sydney who have not posted here. And any information I post here is currant only up to the time it was posted in this forum. So appolgies if it is incorect now.

In this thread you can begin planning for a Sydney area meeting. Where and when the meeting takes place is entierly up to the group. Someone will need to take on the responsibilty of hosting the meeting, either at your own house, or in another location. Maybe two or more people can combine their efforts on this matter.

Anyway, here are the names (so for no one has offered to host a meeting yet):

Goldberries
Lady of the Rings
Widfara (lives in Tazmaia, but said she will fly to the mainland)
Iarfirithwen
(Both Ipswich and Nimloth live in Brisbane. I thought I'd just mention that. Not sure if they want to drive down to Sydney or not.)

I know there may be others who would love to go to a Sydney area meeting. So please speak up if you do. It would be easier to plan a meeting if we knew how many people are going to come.

I would love to come... only thing is it would have to be a weekend - work sux sometimes (i work in a telstra call centre and getting leave is pretty damm hard sometimes) - and I'd need somewhere to stay... I have a friend who lives in the outer suburbs so that shouldn't be a problem.

Now, when were people looking at gathering - because to be perfectly honest, financially, after christmas is better for me. Even with the cheap virgin flights, still expensive to fly to the mainland..

I'm going to be in Sydney in May competing with my horse, at Horsley Park on the 8/9th of May.

Anyone who'd like to catch up during that time? We'll be getting there on the 7th and leaving on the 10th or 11th

Hey guys,

as you probably know by now, Howard Shore's bringing LOTR Symphony to the Opera house.

I am definatly going to be there for the Friday night session on June 18th with a good friend of mine who lives in outer Sydney. We'll be getting a hotel for the weekend and also possibly looking at seeing Lion King the saturday night.
