Hi, I'm sort of new, I've been hanging around your site a long time, it seems to me that I might be one of the youngest fans. And I want to tell you about how I became a Tolkien Fan.
Well, my dad had heard about LOTR and had my older brother start reading the books. I Thought it was going to be some wierd chick-flick and i didn't care about it. Then dad and my brother went and saw the movie, they came back and my brother told me almost nothing about it, only that it was kinda gross with all the killing. So I REALLY didn't care about it, infact... I hated it! *Gasp* My brother got a trailer and wanted me to see it, I refused, but i finally gave in and I thought it was cool. Then he started to tell me about it pretty soon I knew almost the whole story and had read half the book. But I was to chicken to go see it, though i think LOTR is fantastic. And when closing day came, we decided that we could go. Well, it was the #1 best movie I have ever seen. And about your site: the best site ever, I LOVE the photos and being able to talk to other fans is cool.:grin: :blush:
