Leather Armor

As a part of my Aragorn costume for RotK, I'm working on making some leather armor. I'm going to make bracers and some upper arm armor (I don't know the name). I wanted to make a leather breast place at carve a tree of gondor on it, but it's expensive for a piece of leather that big and I'm not experienced enough. I'm ordering a few more things before I get started, but I might post some pics here when I'm done.

Has anyone else tried making leather armor?

Unfortunately, I haven't got any experience in armoury, but looking forward to the pics of yourk work... :grin:
