yeh that wos cool, he lost the fidht tho. and anyway Gandalf is an excelent Hero to have he can make a very big difference in any fight

i have 4 elven bowmen 4 elven two handed swordmen 4 men of gondor, frodo. 4 goblin bowmen, 4 goblin spearmen, 4 goblin spearmen, 5 uruk-hai with swords, 5 uruk-hai with pikes and lurtz.

With my elves and men i have lost 3 battles and i have one 1 battle with my goblins and orcs and lost none.

I also buy the white dwarf magasine and I have the Amon Hen scene
24 goblins of moria and 24 soldiers of the last alliance :grin:
The last alliance always wins :)

it is hard to beat the Elven archers isnt it. you should both try investing in some calvary, they can be very good for supporting weak points in your lines, aswell as strikong against enemy weak points

yeh they are very good sturdy wariors, are you going to make themed armys or just mixed armys?

A friend of mine gets the "White Dwarf" for free sometimes.. and there was (i think) an article about how you can make/create "Helms Deep" in Warhammer size so you can play on it..

Has anyone seen that? or tried to do something like that?

My Uruks & Goblins always somehow manage to loose against the forces of good when i play at home but in the games workshop my forces of good always loose!!! :flamer:

Well my army has grown a bit but not to much
first I want to have soldiers of every kind so this is what I have already:
10 uruks (5 uruks with spears and 5 uruks with sword and shield), 24 soldiers of the last alliance (8 elven archers, 8 elves with swords and 8 men of Gondor), 24 goblins (8 goblin archers, 8 goblin spearmen, 8 goblins with sword and shield), 14 warriors of Rohan (sword or spear and shield), Lurtz (shield and sword), Aragorn (Helm's Deep Aragorn) and Frodo (Fellowship Frodo)

these I still have to paint: 8 archers of Rohan, 2 warriors of Rohan, 2 different kinds of Legolas, Lurtz (with bow), 3uruks (shield and sword), 1 uruk captain (sword and shield), 1 Aragorn (Amon Hen Aragorn), 1 uruk (with Merry on its back), 1 uruk (with Pippin on its back), 1 dying Boromir, 1 Gimli (Amon Hen Gimli)

next week I'm gonna buy another 10 uruks and 1 Boromir (not the dying one)
I didn't buy any calvary yet, but I'll buy them one day, don't worry :grin:

when I have soldiers of every kind I'll make some themed army's :grin:
