I would rather have seen Paths of the dead cut than Saruman, Houses of Healing and the Mouth of Sauron.

Woah, you guys can't be serious. You'd be able to live with PotD cut? Hmmm, I would HATE that...but thats me. lol I'll survive w/o Saruman in the theatrical version, but he better be in the EE. As for Mouth of Sauron.....I thought that scene in the book was bloody awesome. I really wanna see that. I hope that's at least in the EE. Maaan, this clip was really awesome though! :whoohoo: entdraught

I kinda prefer Christopher Lee over Orlando Bloom and John Rhys Davies.
I would have liked PotD cut. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm looking forward to everything else in the movie more.

I still like CL, hopefully he'll be in the extended cut. Nowhere did I say that I prefered Orlando or John. Well, I actually liked John's portrayal of Gimli...but ya, I "prefer" Aragorn. lol

I would think my life would smoulder if Paths of the Dead was being cut out...but there is no Mouth of Sauron?! WTF!? I must be living under a rock or sumthing....i haven't been here in a while. But i liked the clip. for once Aragorn sounds very commanding....

I've posted the reasons for the removal in some of the other threads and after getting it straight out of not only PJ's mouth but sever of the other actors as well, it made perfect sense to me.

The VOS scene is 20 minutes of straight dialoge....would not have worked well at all. As it is the movie flows great and you will be well pleased about the POTD.
