I've listed a view but feel free to say whichever one you want. I personally like (apart from the whole thing) The Passage of the Marshes, The Urak Hai, Forth Earlings and Samwise the Brave  I'm so pleased they included some of the breaking of the fellowship tunes in that last one

I thought Gollums Song was so moving! Emiliana Torrini, or whatever her name is, is a really good singer. Does any1 know if you can get the music for piano yet, cos I've got the fellowship set (which has In Dreams, the Prophecy, Lament 4 Gandalf, Aniron, Many Meetings, May it Be). I really wanna know how to play that song! I only got the soundtrack yesterday and now I'm hooked!

oh well i havent listened to it closely enough to vote. i personally dislike that torrini singer... her voice bugs me really badly... sure the soundtrack's good and all, but... well i suppose, once ive seen the movie, ill like it better. probably even.

Her voice wouldn't be my choice, but its *her* voice that makes the song real. It sounds pathetic, just like Gollum. I like Gollum's Song not because of her voice, but because of the words and the backround music.... as I am an orchestra freak--I most likely stated this more than once before...
But I like the King of The Golden Hall A LOT, also! The violin is sooo pretty! I LOVE The Black Gates are Closed -- VERY intense, and then very light, its perfect! I like Breath of Life as well... ahhh! I like too many! So much better than the first, I think...

i've only heard 'Gollum's Song' on the internet. does anyone have the limited edition soundtrack? is it really worth paying a lot extra (well it is a lot more what they're charging where i live) for what more you get compared to the standard edition?

The Riders of Rohan is probably my favourite track now I come to think of it. I love the new rohan theme, played in many songs and the violen makes it sound more 'humane' than any of the tracks on the fellowship albulm.

I have the limited edition soundtrack. I don't know if its better coz I haven't seen the other one but it's got a v. nice case!
It has all the same tracks though . I'm listening to it at the moment coz it's playing on my computer! I still think my fave track is Gollum's Song.

I think the extra track is 'Farewell to Lorien' from the extended edition of fellowship. Not sure though.

I bought my limited edition soundtrack in Virgin, Uk, but actually I'm not sure if it is limited edition, it could just be special edition I can't remember. You can get it on the web though, coz i've seen it.

Is the music available for saxaphone?

I only knew about a FOTR book for piano, but it could be in any instrument.
Oh, someone I know just did pieces from FOTR with his orchestra and he plays the oboe, so I think you can probably get it for saxaphone. Try the internet.

Does anyone know if there is any way to get the music from the "Long expected Party." I have the FOTR soundtrack, but it's not on there, and I can't find it on the web.
