Background: son of thranduil, king of Mirkwood.

personality: same as he behaves in rotk.

Name: Doleniel Baranhennyn
Race: Elven
Age: can't remember, between two and three thousand years
Appearance: slim, very short for an elf, golden eyes, bright red hair
Background: Parents disappeared when she was a baby, all that is known about them is that her mother was half human and though she chose the immortal life of the elves, she still appeared mostly human. Dol takes after her mother, hence the height and such. She was raised by a high ranking and fairly snobby family in Lorien. They did not get along very well, and when she came of age, Dol ran away to Rivendell to learn the healing arts from Elrond. Upon completing her training, she became a wanderer, and eventually settled in Mirkwood. She joined up with the healers of Mirkwood's army, and by the start of this tale she had risen to a high rank.
weapons: few, as she is a healer. She is able to use her healer's stave as a weapon, and she also has many small knives and daggers hidden about her person.
personality: Very kindhearted, she is willing to heal any injured person. She used to be very gullible, but she was betrayed several times, and now is fairly distrustful of others. Once someone gains her trust, she is very loyal.

Weapons: Finely crafted hand and half sword. Large elven knive sheathed in his belt behind his back (think of Aragorn's knife in the movie trilogy). And of course, his strategically inclined mind.

Race : Unknown parentage, but probably Human from the South formerly of Sauron's rule.

Gender : Female

Age : 17

Physical Attributes : Dark brown hair down to her waist and eyes, skin the colour of mocha hence her name. Attractive, but nowhere flawless as the elves.

Background information : Grew up in Lothlorien under the kindness of the elves, has no past that anyone could tell her except the usual we-found-you-and-just-took-you-in story.

Personality : The quiet type, a little sarcastic and to those who knew her not she is as good as Sauron's child herself. The sort that is unperdictable, one hard to trust but she is an industrious scholar. Could wield magic as Galadriel, but never used it as there was no need, but she knew how. When once gained her respect, friendhsip and trust, she is willing to lay down her own life for the sake of others. A peculiar sort of person with a warped sense of humour.

Background: Lady of the Grey Havens.

Weapons: Long Elven sword.. not like Arwen's, but not far from it. And an Elvish long bow.

Personality: Warrior type, but for those who knows her, she a very warm person. Has a tendense to be sarcastic. Even though her home is the Grey Havens, she's often never to be found there.. Always off on some adventure. She meets Legolas the Elf in Mirkwood for the first time.

Btw: Rawien is 2931 years old.. same as Legolas..

Name: Eowyn, Eomund's daughter, of Rohan.
Looks: Long, beautiful waved hair, golden of color. Slender but strong.
Oh heck, you guys know Eowyn. But for clarification, please think of this character as coming from the books, not the movie. There is a difference, however subtle, and if you'd like it further explained, either PM me or ask outright, and I shall do my best to answer your questions! ;)
Age: Mid to young twenties.
Weapons: Long-sword. Very much skilled with said weapon, though you may not expect it.

Brown eyes, long face, warm tan skin. Clad in tattered dress and traveling cloak (at first- he he he). Plain silver band on ring finger- some significance that will remain secret.
BIO: Runaway. Chased outta home prolly by growing threat of Sauron.

I believe she's already made it clear that she isn't...And regarding Legolas of Mirkwood's post:

He says that Legolas means 'Green Leaf'...that's what men call him.

They call him Legolas, and there's no sure meaning of what Legolas means.

He also says that 'Arwen means Lady'...That's not correct. The suffix 'wen' is 'woman'...'Ar' is noble...Therefore her name means 'Noble Woman' And calling her Lady Arwen is a way to show respect.

Sorry to interfere but I felt that it needed to be cleared up.

Name: Dawnnamira Artanis Nerwen. 'Dawnnamira' was given to her by Samwise Gamgee, when he came to Rivendell. It's a hobbit name. 'Artanis' Elvish, it means 'Noble Woman', and it's her father name. (Given to her by her father at birth). 'Nerwen' Elvish, it means 'Man-Maiden', and it's her mother name. (Given to her by her mother at birth.)
Race: She's half-Elven. Her mother is of Lórien, and her father was of Gondor.
Age: She's 1,769. She was born in the fall, at Imladris (Rivendell) on September 21st
Eyes: They change color, and there seems to be no notable pattern in them, (What color they change when) however, when she's mad, her pupils glow red.
Hair: It reaches to her thighs; it's midnight black, with dark, dark, red highlights. (The color of dried blood) It is mostly straight, but it curls slightly at the ends. She usually keeps it in a French braid.

Personality: Dawn voices her opinion. She knows when to be serious, and when to tease. Most people that don't know her very well are inclined to think that she is a quiet, wise person, that normally keeps to herself. Dawn also has a hot temper when provoked.
Weapons: She carries two swords, (one at her left side, and one on her back), one dagger, (at her right side.) twelve throwing knives, (All poisoned, hidden in various places about her body, most of them were made by her father, and they are in a cross <†> shape), a long knife, (made by a friend of hers, it's long and thin, designed for going through chain mail, it's poisoned), and a bow and arrows. (A gift from Elrond on her 75th birthday)
Skill with Said Weapons: Deadly; in short, 'An army of One'
Skin Color: Tan, due to the fact that she's outside most of the time.
Body Build: Lithe, athletic. Similar to Legolas'
Scars: She has very many. Her most prominent one is a long one running beneath her eyes, and across her nose, it's slightly slanted down. She earned it while being tortured in Isengard, when she was 551 years old. She also has a strange birthmark on her neck. It became her trademark, because it appears like a sun, just rising above the horizon. Her face is also branded with a White Hand, signifying her service to Saruman, but it is normally hidden via her powers.
Jewelry: Dawn wears a necklace, similar to Arwen's Evenstar, but in emerald, topaz, and sapphire stones. Her mother, who received it from Galadriel, gave it to her right before she left for the Undying Lands with Celebrían. She also wears a gold bracelet on her right wrist, with 8 white stones, and one emerald (In the center); it was a gift from a friend, Bethrael.
Biography: Dawn was born in Imladris, due to the fact that her mother was a faithful handmaiden to Celebrían. Her father was the youngest son of the Steward of Gondor, but he left his father after an argument. She has minor telekinetic powers, and she can change her form. She doesn't know why she has these powers, but Elrond is inclined to believe that they're a gift from Galadriel, who blessed her at birth. Dawn is a talented tracker, archer, scout, assassin, thief, actress, and healer. She was once part of an elite group of assassins, called "The Shadow Walkers". She was, and is, a well-known assassin. She is artistic, but few people know that she is. All of Dawn's friends consider her a trustworthy friend. They admire her for what she is, and also what she isn't. Elrond and Arwen raised Dawn, because her mother left with Celebrían, and her father died a decade after her mother left.

And then this is the man she'll (probably) be posing as in Harad.

Age: 19-21 somewhere in that range
Hair: Black, cut in the style of Harad
Clothing: Leather smock when working at the forge (could he possibly be an apprentinace to the blacksmith leading the rebellion?) Other times: Typical clothing of a lower middle-class citizen of Harad.
Eyes: Raven Black
Short History: The first thing he remembers is stumbling into the forge at the ago of 4 or 5...'apparently' was abandonded by his parents...

Name: Lachametar Greenleaf. Lachametar meaning 'brave warrior', Lachametar certaintly lives up to it.

Race: Mirkwood Elf

Skin colour: fair, thogh she spends most of her time outside, hunting and training.

Age: has never revealed it to anyone - older than Legolas at any rate!

Appearance: Tall, blond hair, blue eyes.

Weapons: She is skilled in bow dagger and sword, and she taught Legolas all he knows.

Legolas's mother, she fell in love with Thranduil at a young age. Her parents were killed by Sauron's orcs, leaving her orphaned, and since then, she took a vow to avenge them, and has spent her long life dedicated to training, and hunting for orcs. She is strong and lithe, and Legolas learnt all he knows from her.

Biography: He was kidnapped with Nibinaraniel and tortured at Isengard. Nibinaraniel left him with great reluctance (the two are very friendly), believing him dead, but he was eventually found in much the same way she was. He appears to have made a full recovery.
Personality: He is at close terms with Nibinaraniel, and, before his capture by Saruman, was very kind. After his return, he has spoken very little to anyone.
Skill: He has not fought since his supposed escape from Isengard, the circumstances of which he is still very unsure about. Before his capture, he was not a very skilled fighter, but made up for it in personality.

Character: Gorgluth
Race: Uruk Hai of Isengard
Biography: Gorgluth is Saruman's 'pride and joy'. The wizard has bred him to be a perfect fighter. He has fought in several missions, but has succeeded in every one. He did once suffer a severe wound, but as he heals quickly, the wound has disappeared and has had no effect on him.
Personality: He fears, and obeys, none but his Master, and the Mistress. As he feels no pain, he will continue fighting until his task is finished. He has never been seen without his skull-like helmet, which conceals all but his eyes, which are themselves in shadow. As a result, no one but Saruman knows if he actually has a personality, since he does not even speak or roar.
Skill: He was trained immediately from birth, and as a result is a seemingly unbeatable opponent. Pain does not affect his fighting skill. He fights with lightning speed, sometimes appearing to wield many weapons with his own two hands. Saruman has armed him with mithril scoured from Khazaad Dum. All in all, he is a deadly opponent.
(I was considering that the only way this chap might be defeated is with Saruman's own devilry of Orthanc. Perhaps he could be in the wrong place at the wrong time!)
