I feel oddly compelled to state my opinion.

I like Legolas in the book, and I like how he is portrayed in the film. Orlando did a fine job and I admire his focus. He does have that undeniable coolness.

Here is my problem with Legolas: everyone loves the guy and he means very little!!! The story has nearly nothing to do with him!!! He's a pretty face and a good shot! Get over it!

I think that's probably why some people don' like him cause everyon seems to like him even though I love him I'd have to kinda agree with Nessa not on the part that it's a problem but that I think that's a big reason why people don't like him (did I make sense?)
