Why Does Everyone Hate Haldir??

Ok, I've seen dozens of posts about people who would love to see Haldir die or be sent to the moon...so he acts a little arrogant! he's an Elf, and Elves just do not like Dwarves!

Please don't flame me! I'm just wondering why everyone has a lot of anger toward Haldir.

LOL I don't think we hate him too much Ashley, just a target for our amusement. It thought he was ok in the movie, but looked a bit over weight for an Elf, maybe just he camera.

Though I cannot see the resonaing behind him turning up at Helm's Deep. But no doubt it will all fit together.....I hope.

I don't think it has anything to do with the books... at least not when I tease him. ;)

He was a little off in the film, Craig Parker just wasn't right. I however don't 'hate' him at all. He's actually rather amusing! I'm sure all the teasings done lightly. :)

The Haldir from the film deserves to get picked on, that actor was a terrible choice and a terrible... actor. I personally loved Haldir in the novels though, I suppose it is his sarcasm.
