Today, as I was watching T.V., a very "interesting" commercial was on! in the begining, you see the nine nazgul riding...as they advance, they get into their "V formation" but instead of surrounding arwen, you see a car!...then, the witchking gets up to the driver seat, and looks as if he is going to grab the driver! instead, he pulls off his hood! and you see a car dealer, in a nazgul costume, and it explains that if you test drive a kia, you get a free copy of the LoTR video or dvd! if only i was 16...dang...mecry

Yeah, saw that. At first, I thought : 'Oh my God! Total LOTR ripoff!' Then, I saw the rest of the commercial. Still haven't baught the DVD. Maybe I'll just head on out a test drive a KIA. Not planning on buying one, but hey! Free FOTR! Cool! :cool:

hahaha! My father and I did that! It's true...you get this cool-looking certifigate that has an idenification code, which you have to phone in, give your address and if you want either a VHS or DVD and then it comes in about 4-6 weeks!

I can't wait for my DVD!!!

you can go to kia.com and find the commercial! just browse around until you find it. It's really cool! In fact, I saw it onlline before I saw on TV.

I saw that commercial too - I started to laugh really hard and ... let's just say there was some disturbance

Well folks, if you were thinking about going out and driving a Kia to get your free DVD you can trash the idea....

I stopped by today and apparently each dealership only recieved 50 DVDs to give out. Needless to say they were gone within a matter of days.

The add was origionally supposed to run to kick off a new SUV that's similar to the Nissan Pathfinder in specs, but because demand has been so high in south Korea, they have yet to make it to the states. There is a VERRY SMALL possibility that they may run this again when the new vehicle hits the marked but don't count on it.
