mmmmm FOTR's beginning was very heart-warming and pleasant. but I wouldn't count on TTT's beginning being pleasant, since, there isnt much more happiness save a few merry moments. Although, I suppose they don't want to depress the audience right away... I wonder how they are going to do it. I can't think of a even close to good beginning m'self lol

Well...he appeared a couple of times in FOTR...and we also see him "crawling" toward Frodo in the TTT trailer...my opinion is...he is just very..."Gollum-like" !!:naughty:

I mean she might talk about Rohan, Gondor and other stuff, cuz not everyone knows about that and PJ didn't include in in FOTR!

The fact that people hate FOTR is simply a lack of general knowledge.... some people especially young ones who didn't read the books at all were complaining about the movie not having an ending!! DUH!

anyhow... this movie will not please evryone since it implies so much of Tolkien's world and even if explained and and knowing its part of a fictionnal world, you'll always find some people saying.. Gee that's sucks... it's impossible to do that in a true life!!

I quite liked the ending or lack of. Although I have had this discussion with some of my friends who didn't like it. I pointed out that at least this way we knew there would be at least 2 more good films in the next few years. hehe! :)

It also encouraged me to read the books. :read: And I am so glad that I have!
