Numenorean Language

Hey, do you know if there is something else in Numenorean exept few names and what are they?

Also, was it based on something, I have heard that it was Sindarin or something like that?

I found few words in it as;(i think most of you know them but for others who maybe doesnt know them)

broke - yurahtam
crooked - lôkhî
do'nt - bâ
expression, word, saying - beth
father - attû, attô
folk - lâi
fool - nîph
lord - khôr
love - zir
man - narû
mother - amme, ammî
mountains - urûd
orc - uruk
sea - azra
soldier - nardu
two - satta
west - adûn

expressions:

He understood - usaphda
Do'nt touch me! - Bâ kitabdahe!
The Eagles of the Lords of the West are at hand - Narîka 'nBâri 'nAdûn yanâkhim.
The mountains lean over - Urûd yakalubim!

I know that there are many other words and phrases in it but I wrote these here.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the numenorean names etc. sound quite....i dunno...ugly...??? :huh: especially compared to elvish :p ok i dont think ugly is quite the word.....but i think it's cos of how they look....with all the 'z's etc.

Nah, I like the language. I find it....interesting. However, I do prefer the beautiful, musical elven languages.

I prefer OE and i dont know, i almost hate all elvish things ecept warriors, Vanyars and Swords.

I dislike the Numenorean language. It sounds harsh and ugly, as Pil said. And it's hard to pronounce too. (At least to me.)
