Here are the basics for posting your own writings in this section. As an author, you have two basic format options.

1) An open thread which allows anyone to post comments, praise, etc. within the thread.

2) Two threads. The first thread containing the story being written and a second tread that is exclusive for comments etc. If you decide to go with this option, be sure to make note of this at the beginning of each thread.

In either case, all chapters, parts or sections of a story should be posted in the same thread. This allows readers to easily follow from one part to another without having to jump between threads.

As always, if you are not posting original material, be sure to reference the author and work.

Thank you for your participation in this section. I hope you all take the opportunity to take pen or keyboard in hand and add a few stories for the rest of us!

Just to remind people to please read these helpful guidelines and take note especially about posting all the chapters of your story in the one thread. Thanks. :)

I know that some sites(especially the official fanclub website) don't allow what is termed"slash" and "Mary Sue". What are your rules concerning these genres? I know that they have become very popularover the last couple of years.

'Mary Sue's as they are called are allowed...however, slash is not because most slash violates the forum rating of PG...

That is a good rule to have.
