EE DVD Party, East Coast

Hi folks! Would anyone be interested in an East Coast viewing party? I live in Central Virginia and would be happy to coordinate. I figured we could catch everyone within a 6-8 hour radius.

Well, I'm in PA, but it's within the realm of possibility. Assuming I could get someone else to drive, lol; I don't do long-distance as the driver, I'm the navigator!

I'm in PA during 8 out of 12 months of the year... going back to NYC for the summer though.... i would like to meet in the tristate area? but perhaps that's a little far for VA, right? perhaps PA would be a good location so far?

It's good to hear from you! Actually, if you could check out the thread on this board, entitled, "Pennsylvania??", we have a discussion going there as well, about trying to have a Gathering in PA. Arwen Evenstar and I have been talking about maybe something around Frodo and Bilbo's birthday; Sept 21, as she will be busy most of the summer as well. Will you be back in PA by then? Her sisters and my daughters are LotR fans as well, and could swell our ranks.

As for activities, we could watch all three films; I have extended dvds of the first two, and will have RotK by then. I have LotR Monopoly, Backgammon, and chess too! :grin: Arwen says she has a lovely gown if we wish to dress for the occasion. If you're interested, please post to the other thread, and we can continue talking about it! Hope to see you there!
