Which games to you think willl best?

Universal's based on the book licence or Electronic Arts based on the movie licence.

Or will they compliment each other?

Yes maybe, you can see a side by side comparision in the PC?console section of gaming.

They are very different games, we should get to play Universal's game and test it out very soon. I am looking forward to it the most. Though EA's looks good too.

I think The Hobbit, whis I will be adding shortly, will be more for console fans. It looks very japanese in style.

I read in one of my theonering.net letters that the PC game of the Two Towers won't be released due to lack of material and particpation on the studio's part.

But do not fear, the PS2 and Xbox game is still coming out...

Yes I think the PC version of TTT fell behind schedule. Thus it has been dropped. I think, anyway, that Universals game will appeal more to PC gamers.......... and Tolkien fanatics, though EA's looks very promising too. But more a console game, they usually do not port over well. The controls always get messed up, from past experience.

it's really weird coz when i first saw the ea game i thught it looked a lot like a pc game but when i got a gamecube i realised that they do look quite similar (obv depending on whiat game it is).

I don't like Universal nor EA.I couldn't see any of the detail that PJ put in his movie.Yes,great graphics,but the games has no spirit.They all benefit from the lotr's name.I would be happy if Blizzard makes a Lotr game,right?

A game from Blizzard would be good. But remember BLizzard are part of Universal, many of the developers working on Fellowship of the Ring worked on starcraft etc.

the detail they have gone into is amazing. We will put up our report from visit soon. Also they are upto more than you see at moment. But can't say much more .:-)
