Hmmm..... I actually tend to laugh harder at moments that aren't intended to be funny.....

For example: the Horn of Gondor makes me giggle uncontrolably. Parp! Parp! lol

I always lol at one line of Frodo's, "Shire? Baggins? But that would lead them here!' :o I rarely use the expression "duh" but it fits too well here. DUH!

And Haldir's always good for a snarf or two, and the wizards breakdancing.... and the cave troll makes me laugh as well...

I'm not all that respectful towards the films, it seems. :)

I am torn about the line "let us hunt some orc." Half the time it makes me furious, the other half I find it amusing. It often leads me to imagine a similar closing for Sam and Frodo: "Let us destroy some ring! YEEEEES!"

I don't know if this is amusing to anyone else, but watching the fight scene between Gandalf and Sauruman in Closed Caption is pretty darn amusing!! Especially when Gandalf hits the roof! It says "thud"! So even though that particular scene isn't funny the captioning is!! Also, in Bree when the hobbits are walking down the street, one of the guys they bump into burps, that's kooky.....

after reading the 101 (but definantly more were posted yay!) things that a lotr character would never say i always crack up at the romantic rivendell bridge scene because i can see aragorn saying he thought he had strayed into a nightmare way TOO easily.

Lets see, im trying to advoid saying merry and pippin due to the fact that they have already been mentioned but it looks like i just mentioned them again, i cant help they are just so darn funny and loveable.

The look frodo has on his face after pippin asks "where are we going" in rivendell is a classic "i do not know this moron" look. That parts always makes me laugh.

When legolas walks above the snow, past everyone else pratically swimming in it. (and im not even a elf person, its just amusing)

Bilbo's rambling in the background after gandalf arrives is actually really funny if you can understand what he is saying (closed caption is amazing)

i cant believe no one mentioned the stealing the firework scene!!

I wish they'd kept Merry and Pippin as the comic relief, and not made Gimli wear the "silly character" hat. I think they made him kind of laughable, which is a huge disservice. Even worse in TTT, but this is FOTR, so I won't start. As tempted as I am. ;)
