Swedes and other people who will be in sweden this summer...Gotland has a big medieval event in the first week of august, and I'm gonna be there that week and the week prior to that. If anyone else is going it sure would be good to meet!
And if you're being curious go to this place;
Gotland Medieval Festival (http://www.medeltidsveckan.com/English/index.htm)

That sounds like fun! It would be great if we could get together. :)
I'll be working then though...but I should be able to go over the weekend.

Ahhhh...finally a swede responding! :) I take it you live near Stockholm? It would be so much fun to meet with another war-ringer, is the weekend you speak of the one between those two weeks? We leave Gotland on saturday or sunday in the first week of august.

I thought it was only going to be one week? From the first to the eighth? I was thinking of the 7-8th of August. I might be able to take of work on Saturday morning so that I can come on a friday..I'll have to see.
Actually I live in Växjö which is in Småland. Not too far from Kalmar or Oskarshamn. :)

It is one week, dates match yours. But we leave in that weekend, stupid I know but that is when my vacation ends! The time tables for trains and boats are just out, so I'm not quite sure when yet. Will check it out tho! :)

I might be able to take a few days off, but we have to decide on a day I think before I can do so. I think that I would prefer either the beginning or the end rather than in the middle of the week. How do you feel?

Ofcourse, that makes sense. We will be leaving Gotland on saturday morning the second week. Any day is good with me, you can decide what is best for you. Anyone else wanna join in? Maybe we should PM the other guys! I'll do that later, gotta go celebrate my mum's 60th weeeeeee!:)

As I've already said in the PM, if Bramble goes I'll go with her. :) I've been wanting to go to Gotland and that medieval week for years, but I never got a chance. I spoke to Bramble about that earlier actually, and then you sent me that PM about it too. So if we get the time and money we'll definitely go. :)

I think you have hit the nail on the head Polly! The issue at the moment is money...I have to be careful with money and I don't expect to get a paycheck until august..so it might be that I can't come. I hope that I can, but I might as well warn you.

If anyone has gone to the festival and notice they were a hobbit short..then it might be because I'm not there ;). I have been busy lately with work and as you guys might understand I won't be able to come. But for those that go I hope you have a wonderful time!
