My ears are kind of pointy does that count? No, I don't think I look much like an elf. If my cheekbones were more defined than maybe. My skin is also kind of dark and olive-hued, and I think elves normally have very pail skin. I definately have hair like an elf though, so that's cool.
My nephew though, IMO looks very much like an elf. He has pointy ears and really fair skin and light hair. I call him Legolas.

I am FRIGHTFULLY tanned, I mean, I'm a Malay sorta like Indonesians without the violence and hotheadedness, but I'm actually mixed, like most of the Malays in my country, and I used to have the fair skin of the Chinese, but I'm tanned now thanks to being a flautist-***-piccoloist in my school band, and I guess I have the required eyes and hair (halfway down my back and also a PAIN to maintain) but I have no high cheekbones, and I look more impish than elvish actually! Orlando Bloom looks like an elf ya know.....he's tall, dark eyes, dark hair.....he's has the characteristics. even though it's the exact opposite of Legolas. I think that's why I love legolas/ Orli so much, two separate people, but hot either way!

now me on the other hand.....i'm short.....5'7".....so already i'm disqualified for being an elf.....though i do have dark eyes!

Well I've got hair that ends right below the shoulder-blades, but it's been much longer. At one point I started to almost be able to sit on it. I knew then it needed cutting... It's curly, but not too curly.. At the forehead line, I've got a great Widows peak... And my har color is a nice medium caramel....;)

I have been able to sit on my hair before and it would look ok if it was long but it was too much hassle for me I think I'm a bit too dark to be an elf or I'm not that light skinned and I don't have colored eyes they're just brown but I'm told I'm short and it took me a while to accept it I always thought I was average but average for my age is like 5'5" or 5'6" and I'm 5'2" and I had never realized how short I was till some guy had the nerve to tell me I was short but to me I don't look short just shorter than everyone else

My skin tone is about the only think that even slightly points at elven-ness... but right now I have bad acne on my forehead (and no bangs to cover it up with). My mom once said that if I paid a bit more attention to my hair and covered up the acne (and stood stock-still), I could pass for a lifesized porcelain doll.

Well first off, Akiba I wasn't making fun. Thou my comment was ment to be silly...;) Secondly, Bele don't fret about dark arm hair. I've got it too, and it's dreadfull... I wouldn't shave it, that will just make in grow in darker... Mines pretty bad, and looks darker then it probably is, cause I have no tan to balance it out. But I don't worry, it's part of who I am.... ;)

Yes, I have the same problem. As I said earlier (I think), my skin is a porcelain-ish color, sometimes rosy. And I have arm and leg hair problems and am not allowed to shave yet.

Well, I do my best to encourage... And trust me everyone, eventually it gets better. The acne clears up, that arm hair lessens, the hight thing isn't alwasy gonna be so bad. Also you'll realize as you get older, that these little hardships have made you stronger...... ;)

I am a hobbit! I am proud to be a HOBBIT!! I feel height has something to do with Hobbit-ocity, but not everything. It is how you feel inside! I don't say we should embrace hobbitness as a stereotype or way of living, but a way of being. I myself am hobbit size but that doesn't simply qualify me as a hobbit, (though I don't dare proclaim otherwise!) But I have many hobbit natured friends of all shapes and sizes! Let how you look at life, be how you approach it.
