I was just skimming through the photo forum and i saw this picture of sean connery as Thorin Oakenshield, I have not been up on the Movie version of the Hobbit, but is there any speculation of him as Thorin for the movie? If so it will be quite cool. can anyone bring truth or falsity to this question

I don't know Belak, but I saw that picture too and I think Sean would make a great Thorin!

He looks every inch Thorin...upper class dwarf, your standard "I'm used to getting what I want type" of guy lol!

Oh and I wish someone would move this to art, so we could post the image itself in here and it could receive the attention it deserves! ;)

Connery looks every inch Thorin. That would certainly be a good piece of casting.

ihaven't been on here in a loooooonnngggggg time--so are they really making the hobbit movie?!?!! i thought it was still a rumor!

Still a lot of legal issues to sort out...this is just wishful thinking! :grin:

Have you seen this artist's other pics too! Her name is Kim Kincaid, and she really captures the characters eyes well, and brings alot of emotion to her drawings. A very talented artist!! :thumbs: :)
