The wind rushed over her. Black clouds, black as midnight
filled the sky. Strikes of blood red lighting flash as loud thunder shook the earth. Or whats lift of it. She walked slowly and sofftly with each step. When she heard a loud screech over head. A largh black naked thing with huge bat like wings swooped down trying to grab her. But it missed. She ran down a big slope, triped over a treee root, an tumble down the hill. *smash* She hit a larg rock, and cracked her skull* Blood runs down her face. She can tast it with her toung. She fades out. So does the mer image her faintly see with bloody eyes. All went black. All went quiet. All went nothing.........

An OOC thread stands for Outside Of Character. It's where questions about the RPG and stuff like that go. Every RPG here at WoTR has one. ;) Well, every formal RPG that is. lol

Nice Kalika- Go read the link Illu provided. It will answer many if not all of your questions, cuz, well, that's what it's for! :p

The OOC, or Out of Character Thread, is for discussions, well, out of character. Think of an RP as a story told from the points of view of lots of different people, or like a movie, and you're one of the actors. Think how goofy LotR would have turned out if Frodo had turned to Sam standing on Mount Doom and said, "So, Sean, do you think I should make this face, or this face," every other take. (I'm laughing just thinking about it). All conversation that takes place out of character belongs here, ie stopping in to tell the other players you're going away for a few days and won't be able to post, asking someone to come and rescue your character, general conversation about the game, so on and so forth. Please remember, however, that these are not chit chat threads, and it is greatly appreciated that everyone stays on topic and leaves the latest gossip in the Pony or in PM's.

For every RP, there are two seperate threads: one In Character, and one Out of Character. The IC (in character) thread is where the actual story is written, and where this post of yours:

Tirith, I think that last quote there should be an OOC quote. lol Otherwise it just doesn't make any sense.

Kalika: An OOC thread is where you, and other's you are playing with, decide what happens in the RPG, and where you post your character profiles. The In Character thread or actual RPG thread, is where you actually post the story.
