There are many unique, moving, and funny siggies out there, and I thought it would be nice to have a thread to point them out. :)

There are also a few I'm confused by. A!Elbereth's for instance. Hers says something alike to "Tweak, tweak!.... hehehehehe" followed by 'Pround Member of the Pervy Hobbit Fanciers Club.' :o Those two lines in succesion leave me rather :o 'd. So if El would be kind enough to stop by and explain a bit.... along with anyone else who would like to mention theirs or comment on others'.

My first signature:

My new signature is the Quenyan poem:

My signature is from the film ]i]Forrest Gump[/i], said by the main character during the scene where his lifelong love Jenny and himself come across Jenny's old house where she was molested growing up. It's a very intense scene in which both actress and actor perform extremely well. Jenny proceeds to throw rocks at the house in a useless but emotional outburst and falls to the ground in defeat. Forrest sits down beside her to offer the only thing he has at the time, comfort. He narrates over the scene and says... what's at the bottom of this post.

Sometimes in our lives, there just aren't enough, or any solutions for the problems we face or have faced. You can throw rocks at them all you want, but there are only so many. But Forrest eventually bulldozed that house, and luckily, there is a Forrest out there for each of us that will bulldoze our houses, so that we can skip those rocks carelessly across the pond, instead of wasting them on the house.

i just made mine up. period...no great story behind it...i got the "mighty quinn" part off the song, and quinn is my last name, so i guess there was a little story, nothing big...

Hang on, I've just changed my sig to a Frodo quote as I am the Ring Bearer after all :) But now that you can't see it my old sig (the one i'm talking about in the post above) was "there is only one lord of the ring, only one who can bena it to his will. And he does not share power" ;)

Thanks A! Elbereth I agree that part is very touching. I don't often cry during movies but even I have to hold back cause of this film. The breaking of the fellowship nearly does it for me but it's still the most sad thing I've seen in a film mecry lol....mecry

Little Devil, try flipping through lotr and just stick ur finger on a random page and make your fave line your sig lol see what happens. or look uup a quote on the net, that's what i did. i'm not good at making them up either.
