Does anyone here speak elvish? If yes,how do you translate "To wherever it may lead" in elvish? & maybe share with me some elvish phrases.

I find the language very sexy...:naughty:

We hope to have a language board up one of these days so that there can be more sharing and learning of LOTR languages. I think that Isiltari is an Elven scholar and Wilwarin too. I am sure that they would be willing to help you out! ;) :grin: :cool:

Hey, thanks for the compliment, Elendur. Although I don't think I'm quite a scholar yet, but I do know the language fairly well.

As for that phrase, Elf Angel, I'll get back to you on that....

.. who has the time and dedication to learn even a little of the Elvish languages.. is a scholar in my book!!
We would all appreciate it if the Elvish scholars and anyone interested to regularily look in at the Language thread in Bag End.. so that the questions (which I can't answer!?) will not go on growing weeds!!:cool: :thumbs:

Alright, I'll go there right now!

As for the phrase you wanted translated, Elf angel. I tried, I really did. But a couple of the words in it just don't exist in the known Elvish "dictionary", namely the word "wherever". I am sorry. Maybe if you rephrased it I would have better luck?

I am trying to learn Sindarin right now.... and no, not Sindarin the member ;) lol But i can write in Tengwar, and Tengwar cursive swiftly :grin:
