Which one do you think should play Bilbo if they make The Hobbit movie?
I think Bilbo belongs to Ian totally but others think differ.
So sit back relax and lets talk :)

I'm with you! Ian IS Bilbo, that's what I think! :) I'm sure Elijah would do a great job too, but I don't think it would feel quite right.... Not when we're used to see Ian as Bilbo! :)

I mean I know Bilbo is supposed to look younger but Elijah(in my oppinion...even though I love him) Is too young to play his part!He might confuse people and make them think it is Frodo! I don't know....It could work but I still think Ian Holm has the part :)

Ian got my vote. As you said, he is Bilbo, period. Unfortunately, hasn't he already said he won't play in the movie if they do end up making it? (As well as Lij.) But I guess that's beside the point, we're just stating our thoughts here. But, personally, I could never bear to see Elijah play Biblo. #1: He's Frodo. #2: He's, what, 22 years old? And Bilbo is supposed to be 50. lol I can't see it working out too well.

Ian was perfect for Bilbo in the Lord of the Rings movies, but I think he's a little too old for Bilbo in The Hobbit. However, I don't think Elijah Wood should play Bilbo 'cos as mentioned earlier, people will get confused. Maybe an actor somewhere between Ian's and Elijah's ages would be good for the role.

I voted for Elijah, though I'm sure that wouldn't work. He's pretty much type-cast now. But, then, Ian is too old. Maybe with make-up and eye contacts, things could work out for Elijah.....lol. Just an idea.
